TST‑C2031 Automatic Mattress Comprehensive Tester

The automatic comprehensive mattress tester is suitable for testing main functional parameters such as the mattress's resistance to long‑term repeated loads, mattress height, mattress hardness grade, and mattress edge durability, so as to evaluate the product quality of mattresses.

Working Principle

  The durability test places a rolling‑type loading module on the loading area of a horizontally‑positioned mattress, which rolls at a set frequency to apply reciprocating load to the mattress, so as to verify the mattress's resistance to long‑term repeated rolling loads. After 100 loading cycles of the durability test, the mattress is conditioned for 30 minutes, followed by height measurement and hardness grade testing. A national‑standard φ355 mm loading pad is used to measure the height of the horizontally‑placed mattress with the base plate as the reference. The mattress is loaded at specified speed and force values to calculate its deformation. Upon completion of this test, the durability test resumes with another 29900 loading cycles. After that, the mattress is conditioned for 3 hours, and the above‑mentioned height measurement and hardness grade test are performed again. Finally, the hardness and height variation of the mattress are calculated.

The edge durability test uses a hip‑shaped loading pad (381×500×76 mm) to apply a specified force to the mattress at the defined load points, and the mattress performance is evaluated upon completion of the test.

Instrument Features

1. The machine body adopts a gantry‑type mechanical structure, with high‑precision servo motors and low‑noise high‑precision linear guides serving as the transmission system. It enhances the overall mechanical strength and stability of the complete machine, extends service life, improves the accuracy of test data, and effectively reduces operating noise.


2. The frame is constructed with high‑strength aluminum alloy profiles and high‑quality carbon steel. Its main plates are electrostatic‑sprayed for an elegant and attractive appearance. Fully concealed wiring greatly improves safety performance.


3. The equipment is supported by multiple Fuma casters with built‑in adjustable turntables. It features simple operation, secure support and fixation, flexible mobility, convenient adjustment, heavy load‑bearing capacity, fine appearance and shock‑absorbing functions.


4. A four‑point clamping mechanism is applied, with a maximum test sample size of 2000×2200 mm. It can effectively load and fix test samples to ensure normal test execution.


5. The smooth base surface facilitates mattress loading. The all‑steel‑plate base requires no ground anchoring by drilling holes, and fully prevents displacement and vibration during instrument operation.


6. The instrument is equipped with an intelligent control system featuring Chinese‑language menus (optional switchable common foreign‑language menus including English, Russian and Spanish). Testing can stop automatically upon sample damage. Test cycles can be arbitrarily set within the range of 0‑999999; the unit will shut down automatically after reaching the preset cycles. Test results are auto‑saved in case of mid‑test shutdown or power failure. Real‑time readings of force value, time and travel are displayed by the system during each test.


7. The vertical loading test device is driven by an electric cylinder, delivering low noise, impact resistance, long service life and high‑precision positioning. It supports long‑hour continuous operation with easy maintenance.


8. Imported‑brand guides are fitted for the instrument, which feature small clearance, high precision and smooth operation, alongside high rigidity, convenient precision calibration and long service life.


9. An electric oiler is equipped to supply accurate, timed and metered automatic oil feeding to guide lubrication points, while monitoring the lubrication system.


10. The vertical loading pad is made of eco‑friendly nylon material with a smooth surface, simulating the contact of human body parts on mattresses. Quick‑change heads are provided for switching loading plates to meet diverse test requirements.


11. The mattress rolling device consists of lifting motors, servo motors, linear bearings, high‑strength chrome‑plated bars, chains and other components. It operates efficiently and stably to realize functions including horizontal rolling of the roller, vertical lifting to adapt to mattresses of different thicknesses, and descending to let the roller rest on the mattress under its own weight.
