  The seam fatigue testing machine simulates the effects of load, force and pressure on furniture decorative fabrics during service, and is used to test the dynamic fatigue‑resistance performance of seams on sofa fabrics.

Working Principle

  Fix a sample with sewn‑in seams onto a specimen holder fitted with an elastic foam pad, secure both sides. Apply continuous impacts to the specimen surface from a specified height using a freely‑rotating rubber wheel of fixed weight until the preset number of cycles is reached, then inspect the specimen for damage.

Instrument Features

① The machine adopts enclosed‑type structure. Its transmission system consists of AC motor, worm‑gear reducer and high‑precision chrome‑plated rod, which improves the mechanical strength and stability of the whole unit. Six stations can perform synchronous tests simultaneously to enhance the accuracy of test data.


② The frame is constructed with high‑strength aluminum profiles and high‑quality carbon steel. Main panels are electrostatic‑sprayed for an elegant appearance. Fully concealed wiring greatly improves operation safety.


③ The equipment is supported by multiple foot‑master casters with built‑in adjustable turntables. It features easy operation, firm support, flexible mobility, convenient height adjustment, heavy‑load capacity, nice appearance and shock‑absorbing performance.


④ The instrument is equipped with an intelligent control system with Chinese menu (optional multi‑language menus including English, Russian, Spanish and other common languages). It can stop testing automatically once samples are damaged. Test cycles can be arbitrarily set within the range of 0‑999999. The unit will auto‑stop upon reaching preset cycles. Test data can be automatically saved in case of intermediate stop or power failure. Real‑time time and cycle count are displayed during testing.


⑤ Each of the nine stations adopts welded steel structure with surface spraying. It is fitted with polyurethane rubber sleeves (embedded with deep‑groove ball bearings), which rub against the crescent cams on chrome‑plated rods to lift the test wheels to a certain height for free‑fall impact.


⑥ Each station is equipped with 4‑inch G‑clamps for convenient sample fixing and effective prevention of sample falling‑off.


⑦ Counterweight weights are freely adjustable.
