TST‑C1032S Upper Hinge Flip‑Door Slamming Tester
The Upper‑Hinge Flip‑Door Slamming Tester simula ...
Cornell Mattress Impact Tester. This instrument mainly uses a round‑nosed piston with repeatable, controllable and metered stroke to impact the surface of mattress covers.
It measures the support stability of mattress covers, which refers to the ability of a mattress cover to resist indentation when weight is applied to it. This procedure provides a method for comparing stability‑related characteristics.
This tester simulates the normal‑use conditions of furniture by using the loading pad of the round‑headed piston/impact hammer from the Cornell mattress testing machine.
It repeatedly applies preset deflections and automatically measures and records any fatigue or failures occurring during this process.
The piston is driven by an adjustable eccentric wheel, enabling variable stroke depths and adjustable loads. The piston controls its own extension and retraction to move up and down independently of the eccentric wheel; this feature is used for mattress profiling.
This instrument is designed in accordance with ASTM F1566‑2014 standard.
