Sofa Softness and Resilience Tester is applicable to the testing and evaluation method for the resilience performance of upholstered‑furniture sofas. This instrument is not suitable for products such as bean‑bag sofas, water‑filled sofas or inflatable sofas.
Through load testing on the loading pads of the sofa's seat surface and backrest, the loading and unloading curves obtained during the test are used for calculation to get the percentage of unloading energy relative to loading energy. The control system computes the rebound performance of the test specimen.
