TST‑C1032ZDT Mattress Softness‑Hardness Tester

The mattress softness‑hardness tester is applicable to the factory finished‑product inspection of mattresses used in households, hotels, inns, restaurants and other occasions, and is used for automatic hardness testing on mattress production lines.

Working Principle

A vertical force‑applying device is used to test the measuring points of the sample. During the test, a loading plate of a specific shape loads the measuring points of the sample at a set speed until a specified force value is reached. Test data is then collected by a data‑acquisition device and analyzed by the TST core system to perform multi‑standard and multi‑method tests on the sampl

Applicable Standards

This instrument is manufactured with reference to the test methods specified in QB/T 1952.2‑2023 Soft furniture — Spring soft mattresses.

Instrument Features

1. The overall frame of the tester adopts APS high‑strength aluminum alloy profiles. The base plate is made of high‑quality carbon steel, and square high‑strength, high‑precision slide rails are used for the dual‑axis movement of the test mechanism.

2. Equipped with one set of vertical test mechanism driven by an electric cylinder with a servo motor as power source to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of test data.

3. Servo‑controlled test stroke with direct‑connected transmission, achieving a precision of 0.5 mm.

4. Absolute error of test time: 0.1 s.

5. Vertically adjustable to adapt to mattresses of different heights.

6. Instrument fault protection

‑ Stroke limit: restricts the stroke range of the instrument’s test mechanism.

‑ Power‑failure protection: instantly saves current test data upon power cut. Previous test data can be reviewed or testing can be resumed when power is restored.

‑ Force limit: sets the maximum output force of the instrument. The instrument will automatically trigger an alarm and shut down if the force exerted on the test sample exceeds the limit.

‑ Time‑out protection: defines the time limit for each test; an alarm will be activated in case of time‑out anomaly.
