Coconut Weikang Compression Set Tester is used for compression set test of palm fiber elastic mattresses applied in indoor environments such as homes, guesthouses, hotels and hospitals. It is also applicable to other natural plant fiber mattresses. In accordance with GB/T 26706 2011: 6.4.4 Coir Compression Set Test.
Take standard specimens from coir fiber elastic mattress as required, place the specimen on the test platform. Apply vertical load at a specified speed by means of a defined circular cushion block to obtain the specimen height value. Based on this value, compress the specimen proportionally with a standard platen for the specified duration. Afterwards, apply vertical load again at the given speed using the specified circular cushion block to get the specimen height. The system calculates the compression set rate of the specimen.
